You can try to ask for feedback on your nomination at Nomination Support so folks can have a look at it and give you feedback. At this moment is not possible to appeal a rejected appeal on nominations. Sometimes the Staff may see your nomination and decide to revert the decision, but is not what is normal.
There is no formal appeal of an appeal.
Occasionally if someone posts an appeal outcome that is clearly the wrong decision then the nomination may get approved.
I do think the appeal decision is wrong (not with absolute convication), which is why I am appealing it on the forum I originally posted on. If the Niantic Staff still believes the appeal decision is correct, I won’t be resubmitting it as there is a high chance it will get rejected again.
Hey, the topic, as we commented, should not be at Wayspot Appeals as is not the theme of that category. There we should only have appeals for rejected invalid Wayspot reports or request that removed Wayspots be restored.
Keeping the topic at this category will help the Staff at the moment of doing their job.
I suggest you to add more information, like all your nomination, so people can give feedback if needed and, maybe is possible the Staff could have a look, but this last part is not 100% sure.
I wasn’t going to resubmit, but as I am now able to nominate via Ingress, it saved me a trip to the location (which can be a pain in the rear to get to from where I live), so I decided to do a remote submission. Our beloved overlord (aka eMILy) decided to reject my nomination, so decided to appeal… Just one less nomination to wonder if should have been.
I can see different perspectives as to why this should or shouldn’t be allowed. As this is historical relevant to the community, and a lot of people do not know about it (and I didn’t know about it until it was pointed out to me), I wouldn’t know to discover something that is part of history. I vaguely remember knowing there was a Gasworks in the community from years gone by, but didn’t know there was a rail link until recently.
I think I am running out of nominations to submit now.
Enough information was found to tell the story of the location. It will now bring that previously hidden history to the map. That’s a good thing in my view.
