I’m aware that the in-game report response is a generic message, but I’d like to clarify:
The issue is not about removing the PokéStop itself – the PokéStop is fine and publicly accessible.
The problem specifically concerns the AR Mapping tasks being assigned to this location, which now cannot legally be photographed due to updated regulations and military enforcement.
The “Contact Us — Report an Issue with a Pokéstop/Gym” form is focused on removing the PokéStop/Gym itself – not AR tasks.
That’s why I believe the Wayfarer forum is the correct place to raise awareness and request that AR Mapping be disabled at such locations due to safety and legal concerns.
If there is a more appropriate channel for AR Mapping-related reports specifically, I’d be happy to follow up there as well – but right now, there’s no clear path for that in the Pokémon GO support flow.
