Are disc golf signs in a public park not allowed?

Every disc golf sign I have nominated in a public park has been denied. Are they not allowed?

Golf & Disc Golf Courses

Both sports are great ways to exercise and socialize. Wayfarer regards the whole course/play area in each sport as one field of play. This means there should be one Wayspot, which could be the first tee or a marker at the start to represent the whole course. The individual start and end points of each section of the course should not be submitted. There is potential that other qualifying objects exist within the large area of a course. Disc golf holes were being incorrectly accepted before this clarification was made, so you may have seen them live in game, but they are not supposed to be accepted

oh lol - didn’t see we both had posted. I came back to add that individual disc golf holes are one of the things Niantic removes when reported, so they are serious about this clarification.

On a more positive side, signage that represents the start of a disc golf course typically makes an excellent Wayspot.
