I was just curious about how the little libraries are accepted/denied. I had submitted one that ive seen nearby, and i just noticed that it was removed? I have seen people actually use it as it’s near parks. Can it be resubmitted or something? Is there a reason?
Is it in the property of a single family private residence?
The building is a house, but its one of the college houses not a family residence. Im not sure if that makes a difference or not. They just put up the library too
Alternatively, could it have been removed if the point had been on the wrong side of the street?
I’m not familiar with College houses, but if t serves as a single family home type thing, then it probably isnt eligible. If it was on the wrong side of the street, it should have been corrected, unless someone presented evidence it wasnt at the pinned location and didnt look elsewhere.
If you want to share the location, we could take a look at maps and see if we think the removal was warranted or if it could be eligible for resubmission. If you are appealing the removal, the team will definitely need the location and the title to the best of your recollection.

I think thats right? Sorry, ive never done this before.
I think it is because the building itself is a house?
I live in a college town, so along with the main campus, we do have large houses strictly for college kids, so i didn’t think anything of it
Must have just disappeared with today’s pogo sync is why it is still showing in ingress as a portal.
I can’t verify the location of the LFL on street view or through charter number search, and these homes look like SFPRP (single family private residential property) fwiw
I just looked on street view and i dont see it either. It is newer, like i only saw it last month. And yes all the buildings are houses, some are just for college students.
But i can understand if they removed it, i was just curious lol
If it is a large house converted where individual rooms are rented out with a communal kitchen/living area the fact that the individuals aren’t related I would say is not important, it is still considered 1 household. In the U.K. these are known as homes of multiple occupancy (HMO) whether it’s university students or professional people that are renting out.
Thanks for the appeal, @QuentinMarasova. We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire this Wayspot.
