The automated system is not running properly and is wrongfully declining requests. Im getting bike trails rejected, parks rejected. How are we supposed to help make the game better if this keeps happening?

So that we can help understand further can you post the details of a couple of the submissions that the automatic system (nickname Emily) has declined recently.

Yes of course! I have put in 4 separate bike trails in the Plymouth Uk area. All have clear bike trail signage
These all got rejected.
I also put a request in for a old park bench in a park. This bench is permanent and looks over a nice field. The park gets used for picnics dog walks and kids playing football.
I also requested one the the actual park/field itself which initially got rejected but after appealing it got approved which kind of tells me that something isn’t right with the automated system
To add to this. I fully understand that generic speed signs dont get approved. BUT… in my local area we have speed signs that young children from the local school designed with art work. This was through a competition and the best artwork was picked and used on the signs in the area. Again ART work. These also got rejected

@elijustrying @SlimboyFat71 A popular coffee shop/cafe has now just been rejected by the automated system? Are you sure its working ? My requests are not even making the voting system?
Sorry, but this is not a trailmarker, this is just generic street infrastructure. So in this case, the rejection was correct.
That is not a Cycle Trail marker. That is a standard Cycle / Pedestrian path.
Those are standard signs saying the path can be used by pedestrians and cyclists. As they are not indicating a specific route they are unfortunately not eligible.
NCN is the National Cycle Network and route 2 ( so a specific route ) goes along the south of England and look like this
The distinctive red box with the number. These are eligible.
The cafe might be ok but tge auto system is not able to really “see” a cafe as there is too much building and road.
A better picture which has the sign dominating would help.

I believe in this case the focus of the picture is the problem. This could well be an eligible nomination, but could do with a better picture.
Not the best looking image for a cafe. We do not know whether the AI take notice of the wording but looks like a generic building with work still going on.
I suggest a closer crop of the Sign?
With what we have seen so for it does seem like the AI is working as expected.
Yes, it does make mistakes but so do us nominators 
My suggestion would be to get the ones that you think are you “best chance”. Post what you have (Photos, Title, Description, Supplemental, Location) in “Nomination Support” (1 at a time makes it easier) and we will be happy to make suggestions. You have to be willing to accept that the advise could be “Not suitable, look elsewhere”.
If you want suggestions of suitable nominations please post in “Nomination Support” with the general area (DO NOT USE YOUR HOME ADDRESS) and people will take a look at the maps. Again you have to be willing to accept that not everywhere has suitable places to nominate.

Im sorry but i thought criteria was area’s that encourage walking and exercise (cycling). I thought designated cycle and walking paths would come under this 
You will need signs that encourage walking/cycling, Not signs that you can walk/cycle there.
So usually you will need an official route, trail.
Benches are difficult, but this one could certainly be eligible, if you do appeal, make sure you explain that this bench acts as an anchor point for the viewpoint.
@pokemaster4u2 thankyou ! Sorry for being aggy. Its just frustrating because the area has so few pokestops would just be nice to get more to encourage more players to get out exercise and explore the area
