Can someone please explain why this was rejected by the automatic process? This is my first submission, and it seems like a perfect Pokestop, consider I’ve seen mile markers on road sides get Pokestops. I don’t want to waste my one appeal. Thanks.
Firstly, welcome to the Community.
I am confused as to what criteria this meets. In what way does this make us want to explore, socialise or exercise?
Watches @cyndiepooh give a far better response
Welcome to the forum!
First let me address this
We get 2 appeals, each on a 15 day counter before we can use them again.*
Second, what we do know about the “automated process” is that it is a machine learning model. What we don’t know is exactly what it is looking for.
I would say that this is a gray area nomination under the business art section of this clarification
I can’t tell you whether appeals reviewers will like it or not. If you do appeal, be sure to provide links that prove this is a famous landmark, don’t just say that it is.
If you resubmit, possibly center the photo more on the bicycle than the sign? idk
*If you meant that you can only appeal each rejection once, that is correct.
I think I would approve this. I would probably trying submitting it again. Reframe the image so that the bike takes up a lot more of the image. You have too much space around the object, IMO. But there’s still no guarantee that the ML will understand this is a cool sign rather than a real bike.
Because big people that take this stuff way to seriously denied it
If it was a food location, or a bench .. no issue
You made a similar comment on another post. The “automated process” is a machine learning model that checks every nomination. It can reject nominations where it can’t determine anything eligible. This is not “Because big people that take this stuff way to seriously denied it” since a human never even sees these unless the rejections are appealed.
Neither of these are easy nominations where I submit.
I think this looks quite fun! Certainly I think it would do better in front of human reviewers rather than the automated process, which probably just didn’t know what it was. I would appeal, or like suggested already, re-frame the photo to show more of the bike and sign and try once more.
If it is me, i wont appeal this, but i would try resubmit. i would try focussing on the sign and getting image without car. I dont know what cause AI rejection but its just one of the probability.
This post will most likely be removed as well, as you are addressing a different topic and making false allegations. If you would like to make a separate post in Nomination Support addressing one of your nominations that you believe should have been accepted, we can try to advise you. If you do not want to take the Wayfarer process seriously, then you should not participate, as not following guidelines can lead to sanctions on your account.
Your posts are being flagged as you’re spreading misinformation and calling people racist who are just trying to help.
The bicycle sign we are trying to focus on was rejected by the automated process, not by humans. Lets keep this on topic and respectful please
The criteria library has covered these kind of nominations. I would accept that as well.
