if you post for advice, it is helpful to have a main photo, a supporting photo to show context and the location. If you are concerned about giving out where you are based, you can skip the location but would probably need more than one photo showing context.
I can only comment using what I know which is going to be UK centric.
With such little detail for us to go on with just 1 image and your say so we can give very little accurate advice.
Is there anything that shows what is Private Property and what is Council Owned?
If I lived there and created a lawn would this just blend in with the council owned land? You can’t expect Reviewers to know if there is a invisible boundary and I don’t believe that the AI would Reject as it believes it’s Private.
Images showing the layout of this nomination would be helpful as long as the “buffer zone” can be identified from the Private Land.
The image shows a Wall like structure with a building behind it. This makes it look like the sign is on the Private Property side of a Boundary Wall.
What is the name of the road where this is located?
If the road is “Kauri Close” then this is just a road sign. It doesn’t matter what the road was named after. In the UK we have many streets named after what it goes to such as “Castle Street” or “Church Lane”. The Castle and the Church should be eligible the street that leads to it are not.
My comments are all based on assumptions as you have given us very little that we can take as fact (sorry, you saying so can not be taken as fact).
If you are able to show as you nominated with Main Image, Supplemental Image, Title, Description, Supplemental and also include the location (long / lat preferred) we will be able to advise much better.
Note: The advise could be not what you hoped but that is the thing with advice…
