I don’t understand how it gets automatically rejected?
I think the picture is good enough, it’s public domain and the description is ok?
Welcome to the forum.
This does not appear to be a work of art the way it is presented. It appears to be vandalism to a sign, which is not eligible. We don’t know exactly what the ML (machine learning) model is looking for when it rejects a nomination, but my guess is that is the cause. You can read more about the distinctions that make something unique art in this clarification:
Okay.
if it’s taken as vandalism, then I understand. There’s just no explanation. so I was wondering.
I just thought that there were painted hands and that it could be “art”. simple art maybe, but..
Thanks for the explanation
Hello and Welcome,
The problem is whether they are official or not.
If there was an official trail website or local news that these are official and they are meant to be “explored”, maybe a website would explain who’s hand prints they are then they could be eligible. As it stands it just looks like vandalism ![]()
For future nominations you could post in “nomination support” before you submit, people here will advise whether it’s eligible or not or even how you could make changes to improve your chances.
Keep looking and good luck.
