Buenas tardes, dejo un rechazo que me llegó hoy y no veo la razón del rechazo, la petición fue de ayer y quiero pensar que fue rechazada de forma automática por IA, adjunto fotos del rechazo y de la petición
The rejection criteria is “Wayfarer Criteria”, which usually does indicate that the Machine Learning rejected your nomination.
The wayfarer criteria in question are a great place to socialise, a great place to exercise, or a great place to explore. Your nomination appears to be for a bone marrow donation centre (apologies if that didn’t translate correctly), so I’m not seeing how it would meet any of the criteria.

No es un centro de donación, es una asociación y de interés público, por esa zona transita mucha gente y es un buen sitio para socializar, de hecho en la plaza cercana existe un gimnasio, esas placas de asociaciones existen por todos lados y se votan comúnmente, me da impresión que el barrido automático no está funcionando correctamente y debería aplicarse de otra manera, ya que posiblemente si la apelación es admitida, sería doble trabajo en el sistema.
If the ML model rejected your nomination, and you still feel that it meets the criteria as mentioned by @hankwolfman then you can appeal the rejection. You get 2 appeals, each on a 20 day counter before you can use them again. If you don’t see the Appeal button, then you don’t have one to use. There is no time limit on appealing a nomination.
I don’t understand what criteria this meets, and having existing ones as accepted Wayspots does not mean they meet current criteria. So I have no idea if an appeal will be accepted. But if the ML model is rejecting things it should not, the best way to teach it is to appeal the rejection.
Another thing you could try if you are convinced that this meets criteria - whatever this is - is to submit again with a different photo. Possibly from a step back to make more clear what you are submitting.
If you do resubmit, your supporting photo should not be the same as your main photo. It should show the point of interest from a little further back, to show where it exists in its surroundings.
I looked around a little to see what other plaques were accepted. Without more explanation, I would not have accepted this one, as I don’t see how it is a great place for exercise, exploration, or being social based on the plaque:
But I probably would have accepted this one as representing an institution of higher learning, which meets exploration criteria:
These plaques should not be submitted just because they exist, but for what they represent.
Muchas gracias, en lugar de apelar, pediré esa que me dices y la veo todos los días al pasar y no caí en ella, es una tienda de labores de calceta y similares, incluso la responsable da clases de costura, tengo que pensar el nombre y las fotos.
Por cierto, en cuanto a la foto de apoyo, en otras ocasiones entendí al revés, que las fotos tendrían que iguales a fin de que las personas que votas vean que es real y así poder votar en consecuencia.

That is really an interesting take on the supporting photo! Please let everyone you Wayfarer with know that is not how a supporting photo should be taken! I know there is a good guide on that somewhere and will link it when I find it.
For supporting photographs, submit a photo that includes the object. The photo should allow the reviewers to confirm the location of the object by the surrounding recognizable features that can be spotted on satellite view or similar.
De todas maneras y al hilo del rechazo, esas son asociaciones sin ánimo de lucro para visibilizar muchas enfermedades raras, en España existen muchas y prácticamente todas tienen placas y son elegibles, no se si te suena las Asociaciones contra el Cáncer, ya que creo que existen en todo el mundo.
I just don’t see how they encourage people to explore, exercise, or be social, which is the definition of being eligible. If you can make a case that they do, then you can continue to submit and accept these. I don’t see it. Do you take a friend there for fun?

En este caso lo llevaría puesto que hay mas portales/pokeparadas/gimnasios y se puede hacer recorrido desde esta zona hasta el centro de Ferrol e incluso hacia otros barrios siguiendo rutas y eso si contribuye tanto a caminar como a socializar, yo lo veo no sólo como que haces deporte en el sitio, sino que eses puntos te sirven para seguir rutas y socializar.
But these are just things that you can do here. These are not things that you are drawn here to do. The Wayspot itself must somehow encourage exercise, exploration, or being social, not just be something you could do there whether the Wayspot is there or not.
I hope this is helping you understand what meets criteria. If it isn’t, I will let someone else respond. I do think you care about getting this right.
