I have been reading about peoples benches and views
And boy are there some good ones. and I thought about my favourite. And I was wondering what are yours and why… Below is mine
The view is OK - it is the place that matters - a soft waterfall set in quite park in the city. You can get away from it all. Hear the birds, wind in leaves and on big wave days that sounds rolls up the valley…
The bench is also one of the very few in the area made of stone. I have not seen any most are wooder or metal.
this too four or five nominations. Multiple different angles. tweaking of supporting information (including video tours - heritage view points etc). I had to appeal it in the end.

Sadly this can’t appear in game as it’s next to another wayspot that’s already a Gym (and also a bench, but it was made by the Yorkshire Drystone Walling Guild), but I really liked the craftsmanship of it and submitted it anyway. The view it offers is lovely as well.
I have this one, it’s on the old city wall looking towards historic houses!
This one, because it was my first bench-with-a-view, I sat on it for a long time to recover from the walk down the mountain and the view is second to none (I have posted the view in this forum previously).
For bench with a view this one was fun.
I don’t submit many scenic-view benches, but this one at a birding preserve definitely caught my eye as submission-worthy! As an avid watcher of birds, I tend to hang out in bird-friendly areas - and this grasslands preserve was well worth the visit. Too many bird species are facing population declines because of habitat loss, so these preserved grassland sites are precious. In winter, this will be prime territory for Short-eared Owls!
