New Horizons a Dream Begins!
Can this particular location be changed from a PokéStop to a pokey gym? This property is large and is a location for many physically disabled person who live independently in a place called New Horizons Village. We only have one Pokémon gym and recently last summer to more large units were built on the property, if this particular Poké spot was changed to a Pokémon gym it would help a lot of us out with accessibility
I’m just not sure how you change the stop from a PokéStop to a pokey gym if anyone can help, can you please reply to this topic thank you so much

That’s a pretty cool information board! It might be fun to add pictures of each paragraph, pictures of the pictures, and pictures from different angles. Once you’ve done that, you might hold a contest where people vote for their 10 favorites by thumbing them up in pogo. Then, after you’ve done that, maybe there are some other things nearby that are also eligible which you could submit.

Getting people to thumb up the photos in pogo will help.
when theres is enough POI to make a new gym in that area it should make the one with the most photo likes a new gym.

Hey Jude… OK sorry about that, but I couldn’t help it! How stops become gyms is not information that Niantic has shared with users. There are theories; I would recommend looking at these online if you’re interested, but none of them are exactly true. I have been advised not to speculate here in this community as to how it works, but if you create more waypoints, and they are done is such a way as they appear in Pokemon go, there is a chance that a few stops may change to gyms. I’m talking one or two. I have had some success, but it may just be coincidence, and things may not be happening for the reasons I think they are! Try Googling the title of your this thread… look at recent posts, tho.

To start with Wayfarer is about creating the points of interest - Wayspots. It is up to Pokémon Go which they select and how they appear in the game. So do ask here about those wayspots and what is valid, but this is not the place to seek to ask for a gym.
So if you are Level 37 and not already a wayfinder find out about criteria read posts in here to find out what makes a good wayspot and we will support you to find and put together a good nomination.
To help you on your way you do need to be aware of certain things that Niantic don’t tell you or your quest will end in frustration.

Then find some things that can be wayspots and submit.
It will seem a lot to do but if you learn how to submit good wayspots once you can do so in other places in your community and add to wayspots that could then turn into places in the games.
