Can i move my nomination?

Please provide:

i meant to add it a little more up, but its with another cell that occupied.

  • A screenshot of your nomination, including rejection reasons if it has already been rejected
  • Include the title, description, both photos, and supplemental information
  • Copy and paste the title, description and supplemental so others can translate them
  • If you feel comfortable please share the location, as it is helpful (i.e. hidden duplicates), but you can mask it if you wish.

I’m really sorry about your predicament, but staff has never allowed moving a Wayspot around for the sole purpose of allowing it to sync into Pokémon GO. The location it is currently at is correct and they deem changes from a correct location as unnecessary.

For what it’s worth, I suspect it’s eligible to be in the rotation of Powerspots? In some areas, I’d rather have a few Powerspots than an additional PokéStop, but I understand that not everyone enjoys that gaming aspect.

You can legitimately move a wayspot from an OK position to a better position. An example is a wayspot in the middle of a football field can be moved to the edge. This is seen as improving the accuracy of the map.

You cannot legitimately move a wayspot from a good position to a just-as-good position. An example is a wayspot on the edge of a football field cannot be moved to somewhere else on the edge. This is seen as manipulating the map for gameplay reasons.

To avoid this problem, for wayspots that have a legitimate choice of where to put in the pin, such as a football field you can use the cell boundaries to make your initial placement. For wayspots that don’t have a choice, such as a sign, you cannot legitimately nudge it based on the cell boundaries.

if reviewers thought your pin was too far “up” then they may have moved it in voting.

I would call this moving from an incorrect location to a correct location as you shouldn’t pin it in the field of play.
