Change position of POI in PoGO

Are you saying that you tried help chat here Niantic Wayfarer
and tapped on this speech bubble

and they told you there that you had to submit this in game?

I have never had that happen, so want to be sure I understand. I have been referring people to help chat for any location edit they cannot do through the games.

I used the help function for bad wayspots. Sadly I did not see any speech bubble…

okay if that is denied, try the help chat like i pointed you to. i have never tried that form for a location edit. i do know that you get an automated email requiring proof that you are the property owner that you should NOT reply to.

Okay thank you very much…

In this form I could choose that I am not the owner but the location is wrong and now on an important street which is now the case …

My bad. Sorry for the confusion. I misread the available information.

The Wayspot has been edited to reflect at the correct location.

The webpage you found is how I prefer but the interface is very misleading. Usually we’re recommended to use the help chat Cyndie explained.

I think that this edit made the daily “cut off” time and should sync in the next 6 hours. Don’t quote me, though.

Here’s hoping! And glad this got resolved for you :tada:

Based on several interactions with Niantic staff, they don’t seem to understand that a) you can only move Wayspots 10 meters in PoGO, and b) you can’t edit a Wayspot that doesn’t appear in the game you’re playing. Hence my curiosity regarding whether or not they have ever used that process
