I had submitted this stop previously and it got denied so I asked for advice on this forum and I had detailed it further before resubmitting it and getting approval. I expressed its the only restaurant of its kind in the area, it isn’t seasonal and gave additional information on what the restaurant has to offer such as hosting events, which is great for gatherings and socialising.
Hello again @PinkSpot98
I was wondering how this had gone. That is a pity, as it looks good .
As @cyndiepooh has said do appeal this one using the contributions page. Try to address whatever rejection reasons were given - guessing at generic business.
If you have any proof that the community loves this place, give them those links in your appeal. We have “Neighborhood Fave” ratings on NextDoor and “Maggy Awards” from Cary Magazine, for example.
Hi again, yeah I try to be descriptive with my nominations, especially restaurants and cafes but all the ones I’ve nominated including this one keep getting rejected for being generic when I try to specify in my descriptions why they’re not. I’m out of appeals for now, once theyre back then im going to appeal it.
Yes some U.K. reviewers can be harsh on restaurants so it can be tough. As this has been open a little longer there may be something more to find online. A local Bury review or MEN perhaps.
You had some trail markers too .? ? Did they do ok?
Yeah i’ve noticed, my friend has been trying to help me with restaurant and cafe nominations.
The trail markers have done really well, Philips Park near where i live was very scarce for stops considering how big it is and now I’ve been trying to get trail markers, signs, footbridges etc and I’ve been successful for the most part. That tree trail one that I mentioned wasn’t a duplicate is still in voting.
