Detals would be nice

So, what, Exactly, didn’t they like?? Why not say so the portal can meet their interpretation of the "criteria "…

Appeal coming.
Cheers!

The rejection reason will be on your contributions page, not in the email. If it is “Wayfarer criteria” and the email says “our team” decided, then it was rejected by the ML (machine learning ai) model.

Hello,

It doesn’t seem as though you provided much context for these benches, in regards to their importance to the area, as that’s what’s required. They also seem as they are for different missions, so they could each be their own Wayspot, if that’s the case. We have more criteria clarification on benches here:

Also, I would not fully capitalize the title, and instead use proper grammar. I wouldn’t capitalize BENCHES in the description as well, and note these are at NASA Johnson Space Center, not NASAJSC. I’d also call these dedication benches instead of memorial benches, as they are dedicated to those who worked on the missions, and some of those people most likely are still alive.

I would hold off on an appeal, and resubmit them, especially if they are dedicated to different missions.

Thx. Yeah, that’s how it’s worded. ML… I’ve tried this three times now.
Maybe a request for human decision will work out.
Cheers!

I still think you need to improve on the nominations first before appealing. Also, we only get 2 appeals every 20 days, so resubmitting with better info is usually the better way to go.

DTrain2002, great explanation! Thanks much! They are three different time periods so yes, I’ll do three separate submittals. Thanks for the details!

That’s what I thought! NASA likes to have dedications to different missions, not several, hence why each mission has its own logo/patch design.
