Any suggestions?

Hey, I’m looking for some advice, this is my first time doing this so I really apologise if I’ve messed anything up. I was wondering if anyone could give suggestions on how i could improve and if it’s worth resubmitting or if it’s worth avoiding submissions similar to this one

Any help would be very much appreciated!
If location is needed I can give that
Thank you for your time!

Welcome to the forum!

Those rejection reasons indicate that some people did not find your lack of capital letters acceptable. But more people probably thought that this wasn’t “distinct,” or anything of note in its environment.

Have you looked at the tab on the wayfarer site for eligibility criteria: Niantic Wayfarer

Nominations and edit submissions must meet all of the following acceptance criteria:

Must meet at least one of the three eligibility criteria

  • A great place for exploration
  • A great place for exercise
  • A great place to be social with others

Can you explain how this bench meets any of those?

Thank you for taking the time to send this, I can see how this isn’t distinct enough, what confuses me is that there’s others that are similar to this that have been accepted.
I will definitely reread the eligibility criteria just to refresh myself a bit. And i guess the only one of the three would be that it’s a nice spot to sit and socialise, however i can see that’s probably not a good enough reason.
I appreciate your words and advice!, thank you!

Sometimes things are accepted which shouldn’t be. Other times, the submitter put the interesting information in the supporting information, so you don’t see why it was accepted on the live game location. Please ask any questions you have!

That does make a lot of sense, I got a lot to work on, i really appreciate your help and feedback!

To me, a bench that’s been donated is similar to a memorial bench, or even just a regular bench in a park. Many benches in parks in my area actually have donation plaques from the businesses that sponsored them, or continue to sponsor the park, for instance. Being I see them in a similar sense as memorial benches, I usually reject them, and this one I’d likely to reject as well.

It’s going to be a hard sell to the community. And, if you’re interested, here’s the criteria clarification for seating benches:

I very much appreciate this, thank you so much for taking your time to help me and show me this!
