I think they are still adjusting the reasons so this topic may be premature. When we first noticed the changes, this rejected view bench was showing this on March 27 (my rejection reasons look slightly different because I have the rejections plus tool installed)
I think the original rejection was “Temporary/Seasonal or Not distinct,” but I didn’t seem to have made a note of it anywhere, because why would I?
But now no rejection reasons will come up for that one, no matter how many times I refresh.
This one was definitely rejected as Generic business and now shows this:
So it does look like they have changed the “Generic business” rejection to more broadly indicate that it was considered generic with the statement “The submission lacks uniqueness or historical and cultural meaning.”
