Eligible street sign

Hi everyone,
I hope this will be the last post i do  , i won’t bother too much in this things.
I want to understand if this local sign is enought unique or not.

This sign identify not only the location but it has the local and historical dialect under that. So, i think it’s a unique submission and to prove that, i’ve an example of the same sign approved.

First of all, atm i’ll understand one reason about the rejection, because i pointed the submission slitly far from the real location of the sign (like 5 meters, but the sign and the location are the same place) but (I GUESS) it’s justified to improve and have a better playability for local rural players because in the same L17 cell there’s another pokestop.
Here’s a screenshot to understand: blue point the pokestop already ingame, orange the sign i want to add, green one where i want to move the submission and pink the area of the street sign (so, the same place of orange and green points).

My questions are:

  • there’s no chance this submission being approved or i just give up?
  • Why this POI with a unique thing is a “no no” but streets corner (with and without a photo) where there isn’t a unique thing, are being approved?

The street corners and bus stops that don’t have pictures are an experiment in rural locations within France, Italy and Spain. They are not to be submitted by users as they wouldn’t normally meet the criteria, but Niantic has added them manually to see how it affects the player base in these rural areas.

As for your signs, they look like generic signage, and I have no idea what they’re meant to represent.

The sign that you show as accepted seems to have much more information than the rejected one. Those seem to be generic traffic signs. I would give up on them if that is the case.

Missplacement of wayspot submission into empty cells for game purpose is subject to abuse ladder system. I suggest you give up

Some of these tells about the ancient story of my local area but both has the unique thing of the dialect traduction

Ok, thanks for the tip

They are saying that there is a L17 cell with more than 1 Wayspot active, and if one is an import, that can be possible.

missplacement of wayspot submission might get you warning or suspension depending on severity

He is trying to move it from orange to green

Ah, ok.

@11Dave97 That isn’t a 5m move, if you ask me.

The sign has the unique particular with the traduction tells how the name of the area was in the past with the local dialect, which is different from normal signs i think.

I didn’t used a meter to calculate the distance but the 2 points aren’t that far away from each other. But i understand this submission is a “no”. So, i don’t complain about that.

The sign that tells of the tradition with the local dialect can be seen as culturally and historically significant, something worth exploring, while the signs with just the names on them no so much, as they just tell you where you are, which is what a street sign is supposed to do.
