I know third party images are unacceptable as Wayfarer submissions, but it is permissible to edit an existing Wayspot image and resubmit that? What I have in mind is this POI of a windmill on a manufacturing site. The original image was taken several years ago, but it is tilted, offcenter, and somewhat far away. I did submit a new image that I took in person, but you can see the windmill has fallen into disrepair and is much less appealing to the eye.
So would it be acceptable to take the existing years-old Wayfarer image, recrop it, and submit that?

I have certainly re-used photos from Wayfarer when resubmitting the nomination, as long as the photos haven’t been used anywhere else. And I have also cropped, straightened, and adjusted brightness / contrast / saturation as well. But that’s when resubmitting a rejected wayspot, here you want to edit the picture and add it back to an existing one?
In this case I’d probably not submit a fixed image because the straightening out has made the picture blurry. But I have actually done that, where the image that I submitted in-game didn’t work very well and have adjusted the existing image to upload it again. But the end result did (IMO) look better, not sure this one does.
