Additional Information (if any): The reason of the Rejection is low quality photo and third party photo. I dont agree because its my photo.
It was taken with a smartphone and the weather was bad due to the back light, so I did some color correction, and there was only a slight loss while reducing the capacity due to overcapacity during upload attempts.Although there was a slight deterioration in image quality, it is not of high quality enough to be rejected, and a representative photo of the stop is sufficient. I can’t accept both third-party and low-quality photos. I even used the upgrade. The stop to be approved was rejected for ridiculous reasons. https://maps.app.goo.gl/7csxYqQPmC95uHUD9?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy
This needs to go through the normal appeal process. Please use the appeal button on the submission and provide your rationale to the appeal team through that interface.
Oh my god, I uploaded another picture of waypost. That picture was originally edited for additional information, but it was uploaded incorrectly. I’m sorry. Could you help me change the representative picture when I do the Appeal? It’s a shame to give up because it’s an upgraded nomination. I only need to replace one picture, but there is no way to upload another picture in the appeal process. thanks
Unfortunately, since photos taken from any third party source are not allowed, the only option is to resubmit. There isn’t a way to change the photos on a nomination once it has been submitted.
Agree, there does appear to be 2-3 distinct POIs that could be Wayspots: the exercise equipment, the gazebo, and possibly the swing set. If there is a separate sign for the park, that could be submitted for the park as a whole, so a 4th possible POI that could be a Wayspot.
@astrophysiko I’d really recommend reviewring both Wayspot criteria and photo guidelines again, so you know what is and isn’t eligible, and what a good photo is for a nomination.
