Façade du restaurant « Ay Caramba ! »

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

(I would like this future PokéStop to become a Gym in the area. It is still possible to create one last Gym here, and there is strong competition. I kindly ask for your support, please.)

  • Wayspot Title: Ay Caramba
  • Location (lat/lon): 59 Rue de Mouzaïa
  • City: Paris
  • Country: France
  • Additional Information (if any): Cette façade colorée attire l’œil et apporte une touche culturelle et joyeuse dans le quartier. Elle est facilement visible et accessible depuis la rue.

Hi @Albanlte
Was this wayspot removed and you want to have it restored?
Can you give a few more infos about your appeal?

It hasn’t been accepted or rejected yet — we’ll have to wait for the next update. I’ve just added some additional information in the description.

Welcome to the forum @Albanlte

This is the appeals section of the forum. Its purpose is for appealing rejected removal requests, and for appealing to have removed wayspots reinstated. You can’t use it to request a gym.

In fact there is no way to request that a specific Pokéstop becomes a Gym. A Gym is automatically created when there are enough Pokéstops in a given area, and which Pokéstop gets upgraded to a Gym is meant to be random.

Ah thank you for specifying.
For the reason Hank explained I’ve moved your topic to General Discussion but I think more info you won’t receive.

Hello and welcome,

We have no control over what becomes stops/gyms in PoGo, as there are density/inclusion rules that PoGo has set. 1 Wayspot is allowed per L17 S2 cell, with any other Wayspots in that cell possibly being used as Power Spots. Gyms are in the larger L14 S2 cells, and there has to be a certain number of L17 cells with stops/gyms in them for a gym to appeal. 2-5 stops will results in 1 gym, 6-19 will result in 2 gyms, and 20 or more will result in 3 gyms.

More info about how S2 cells work in PoGo can be found here: https://pokemongohub.net/post/featured/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
