Additional Information (if any): Dear Explorers I need to know what’s wrong with this particular location and if there is any way to establish as gym of pokestop I will be grateful if I got some assistance, help, Assistance or even information
The Wayspot Appeals category is not for appealing appeal decisions. There is no category for that. Only rarely are appeal decisions overturned, and only with overwhelming evidence that the appeals reviewers got it wrong. I don’t see their reply to you from your contributions page, but this photo just looks like some landscaping to me. Per Niantic Wayfarer acceptance criteria:
Must meet at least one of the three eligibility criteria
A great place for exploration
A great place for exercise
A great place to be social with others
I think the ambassadors may move this to Nomination Support . Your supporting statement should have nothing to do with why this would be good for pokemon go, and be all about how this nomination meets that acceptance criteria. Beautiful photo though.
Thanks you for putting me in lights and I think I can’t keep my word to make a poke stop for my children near by home , that is the only thing makes me upset
@Capatino I can see loads of wayspots around your location from a different game map mostly from a higher education institute and some gardens, but as @cyndiepooh states the image you supplied of a red flower bush could be anywhere from your own garden and as such this is frowned upon by the community and other players that maybe nearby.
Even if It had gotten approved and went live if a local player with wayfarer knowledge or even the Niantic system deemed it was breaking one of many rules then it would be removed anyways as a fake nomination.
While I applaud you for wanting to keep kids safe to play the games,it does need to stick to the rules that we all have to abide by.
Don’t take it personally as “putting you up in lights” by the replies or making you look bad, just explore around your area for things such as a entrance sign for a community garden thats permanent based on what you submitted and see if anyone else has submitted it before you,if not there’s your chance to have your nomination.
I believe you can see at the time of nominating in Pokémon Go that there’s a toggle switch to enable to see this but cyndie is mostly an expert on this as she plays way too much .
lol I am not an expert, but I do understand the mindset of wanting to get a pokestop in a certain place, rather than looking to see what qualifies under criteria. It is a completely different mindset, and is really fun to a lot of us. I remember when the light switched on for me, and my brain just started going “that could be a wayspot” when I would see something eligible. Now I can’t turn it off XD
I usually copy and paste this explanation for new submitters who wonder why their accepted Wayspot did not become a Pokestop:
I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the Lightship database, which can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. This is a good article about S2 cells and PoGo: https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
If you promised a Pokestop, you should look in this area to see if there is anything eligible there:
I don’t see any Ingress portals there already. But my map is only showing a map of portals and it is possible that there are sponsored Pokemon Go locations or Wayspots that Ingress isn’t using there already. You can check for Wayspots you don’t see already by turning the toggle on in the nomination map screen.
I don’t see Street View here, so I can’t really check for you. But amenities for the community can be eligible, and I think I spot a pool at an apartment building?
I saw it yesterday i couldn’t believe my eyes the words can’t describe how happy and thankful for you and actually everyone in the house thank you for what you did for us I appreciate that and I am at your service any time
So it all about how many poke stop in the cell regards how it serve players I will try to read your article and understand how to handling this and by the way I just wondered how to transform pokestop to gym and what makes the gym hosting a specific kind of raid like 5 star or mega one and is it really hard to make the gym a elite gym but regardless for all of this I am so happy to find someone care like you and many thanks one more time :slight_smile
