Well maybe its clearer if its multi account. Whoever did this usually use throwaway account.just keep reporting it. if he get greedy, his/her nomination in area can get all removed In 1 sweep
I reported the same nomination as abuse. Definitely saw a dodgy one for a different image at the exact same location recently, too

The more reviewers who report this abuse as abuse, the greater the chances of effective action from Niantic. Also, when reviewing, if you see anything on the nearby that is a fake NCN sign, report that.
I saw a different fake ncn sign last week.
I reported it too. It matched a route number for the area, but the route map showed that it didnt go anywhere near that part of town.
That seems to be the trend. I suppose by creating it /near/ a real route, the abuser is expecting this to slip past reviewers who don’t check properly.
Was it that route 4 too do you remember? If not, it would be useful to know which route number to watch out for as I imagine they’ll try more than 1!

I hate this. I submit quite a lot of these kinds of nomination, but real ones. I have struggled long enough to get these kinds of markers approved, and I don’t want a situation where people don’t trust them anymore - they already get rejected for silly reasons regularly enough, don’t want to add “fake” to the list

They’re relentless! I wonder if that’s why they keel using that photo - it’s the only one that got accepted!
This is one of the ones that got accepted by the looks of it! How does that happen when you reported it for abuse?
Just keep reporting.
Quite rightly investigating something like this takes time to be thorough .
So in meantime some may slip through but it will all come together.
So even if it goes in, they’ll still investigate an abuse report? That’s useful to know - it was why I posted in here to start with as I thought it needed reporting before too many approved it.
