I submitted my first wayspot, and it was approved! Great news. But it’s not appearing in PoGo. I submitted it on 03/11 and it was approved 03/14. It’s been more than 48 hours. I read there were some others in the same time frame. Is there an estimated fix? I’m excited to see a poke stop I submitted!

This Wayspot is in an eligible location to become a Pokestop (or gym). There is a normally daily sync where eligible Pokestops are promoted, but it was skipped over the weekend. If it occurs today, you should see this appear in the next hour or so.
fwiw, I do not belive that these neighborhood signs meet criteria, and do not think this should have been accepted. Going forward, do not be surprised if similar submissions are rejected in the future. May I ask what was your reasoning as to how this met any of the eligibility criteria?

Thanks so much for the response. I nominated it as there are similar pokestops at community signs around the area I live. This particular one is by the intersection of two well-walked sidewalks. It gets people out exploring more is there are stops nearby, in my opinion. The large residential areas like this have parks and playgrounds, but in this section, all of those parks and playgrounds are several blocks away.
We have begged for a clarification on these signs, but Niantic has ignored those requests. And others hop in and say it is not necessary. Thank you for frankly answering that you just submitted it because you see them in game, and not because you felt they met criteria.
fwiw, these rarely meet removal criteria if they are accepted, so you don’t need to worry about it being removed.

So people go to these signs without any context of the game to explore them? Because Wayfarer is supposed to highlight things that people already explore, not create things that entice people to go out to explore. Players will walk to anything that has a pokestop. But Wayfarer is about finding things that meet criteria on their own merit.

While some nominations may be deemed eligible by the community of reviewers on Niantic Wayfarer for inclusion into Niantic’s location database, they may not necessarily be added into every Niantic game. After a nomination is approved by reviewers, there is an additional automated review that determines whether the nomination is an appropriate fit for each particular Niantic game. Each game has their own set of criteria for this step, so some nominations may be accepted into one game but not another.
The most common reason that an eligible nomination is not added to Pokémon GO is because the nomination is too close to existing PokéStops or Gyms. If an existing game location is removed or the criteria changes, the nomination may appear within Pokémon GO at a later time.
Please keep in mind that while this is a common reason, it is not the only one.
Having said that, there has been an issue with the Pokémon GO sync for last couple of days. All eligible Wayspots will appear on the gameboard once the sync resumes.
