  • Additional Information: This flagpole is within a private company’s lot (XPO) that is both inaccessible due to being private property as well as dangerous seeing as it can only be accessed by crossing four lanes of traffic or by walking up the side of a major roadway. This area is industrial and aren’t many (if any) sidewalks for this area.

Being on private business property is not grounds for removal. Anyone who works there or is a guest there can access it safely on foot, as it’s on a patch of grass that has footpaths all around it.

Don’t get me wrong, as a flagpole it likely should never have been accepted in the first place, as they’re not great places to socialise, exercise or explore, but your reasons for requesting the removal are not valid, and Niantic are unlikely to remove it for simply being a low quality wayspot.

Thanks for the appeal @KowaiKitty We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
