I cannot see anything to explain this, but Mühle-Brettspieltisch*(50.984399,6.986678), Approved 15 Jan 2026, Submitted by 00NoDidd has been disabled. It looks like you will need Niantic to provide an explanation.
We have similar structures in the UK. These are strictly functional street infrastructure and could only be eligible if they have authorised murals on them.
In the UK, the postal utility-boxes don’t get murals, but telecoms utility boxes (and similar) often do.
I got it approved because there are countless stops like this all across our city. So many times, when reviewing on Wayfarer, I see people submitting completely made-up ChatGPT-generated PokéStop descriptions, and nothing is ever done about it.
Standard advice is that just because something is already a wayspot doesn’t mean it should be a wayspot and doesn’t mean similar things are automatically eligible.
Wayspots might have been approved years ago when the criteria different. They might have been approved because the reviewers didn’t know the criteria. They might have been approved because the reviewers did know the criteria and approved them anyway.
AI slop is not a good reason for getting a wayspot removed if the wayspot itself is eligible. AI slop for a fake wayspot definitely needs reporting for the fake wayspot. The only way anything can be done about this if the wayspots get reported.
I like the playtable, so I’m surprised this one was removed. The utility boxes should not have been approved (can’t see why they would be a great place to explore)
