I am writing here because I have not been able to get a proper human review through the support system, and I would really appreciate if someone from the Wayfarer team could take a look at my case.
I recently received a 30-day suspension affecting my access to Pokémon GO due to a Wayspot submission (“Snoopy Go”) flagged for misplacement.
I want to clarify that:
The submission was a real graffiti artwork (Snoop Dogg themed) that exists in the real world.
The location may have been slightly inaccurate by a few meters, but this was an honest mistake, not intentional manipulation.
I do not use spoofing, third-party tools, or multiple accounts. I play fairly and follow all Pokémon GO rules.
I fully understand if the Wayspot was rejected or if I should be restricted from submitting/reviewing in Niantic Wayfarer.
However, I respectfully believe that a 30-day suspension from Pokémon GO gameplay is disproportionate, especially since I have not violated any Pokémon GO rules.
This penalty prevents me from playing entirely, even though the issue is related only to a possible placement error in Wayfarer.
I am asking for:
A manual review of my case
Reconsideration of the suspension
Or limiting any penalty strictly to Wayfarer features
I enjoy contributing to Wayfarer and playing Pokémon GO fairly, and I would really appreciate a second look at this situation.
You already had a human review, as suspensions are not automated.
if you want any advice from the wayfarer community, please post the location at which you submitted this wayspot (preferable a screenshot from the submission receipt email below the photos).
Please note that your last request, consideration to limit penalty to wayfarer, has never been done to my knowledge, as the suspension is intended to affect all Niantic games in order for it to have the proper effect of acting as a suspension when people do try and cheat.
If you are sure about this and comfortable about sharing full detail of your nomination, other wayfarer like you can check and advise whats happening. I assume you got email saying about this missplacement and not assumption.

I had the same issue and it’s because I live in a rural area so the map in the game is inaccurate. Everytime i nominate a pokestop it tells me I’m misplacing or trying to cheat despite the fact that i nominate the stops on the spot without moving from the area. I got my account suspended and haven’t been able to get anyone to help me. I’ve sent proof to them of my location and to show that it’s an actual established community and I get ignored. I’m not the first that this has happened to in my area so many others have left the game I’m thinking of doing the same because it’s not fair. I have to leave my neighborhood and go on a hiking to trail to get to the nearest pokestop or even get any pokemons to spawn. The craziest part is that the pokestop got accepted and placed on the map either way right before I got suspended
