Doesnt lightship have its own line of communication to raise these type of issues directly?
I’m not raising any issue, only comments.
I did locate, with difficulty, the 2 Wayspots that were being rejected when I reported them as removed. Each other time, the Wayspot didn’t meet criteria.
I’m not sure if the game publisher has a mechanism in place to handle accounts that log in from the same device. In my area, there seems to be someone with 18 accounts. He creates nominations and uses those accounts to quickly review and approve them, even if the nominations are fake, such as moving locations, using incorrect images, or submitting wayspots that don’t exist for long.
The process of editing wayspots takes a lot of time because it relies on community reviews, and it can be very difficult to make corrections since most reviews are subjective. Reporting fake nominations is also time-consuming, as he quickly creates and moves gyms at an incredible speed. Dealing with the consequences is even harder, as it’s nearly impossible to delete or fix the gyms he has manipulated.
Something must be done about malicious abuse of the reporting system.
