I applied for a wayspot about four months ago and it was approved, but it’s not showing up in Pokemon GO. As you can see in the first picture, cell S17 should be empty. Looking at the map, it seems like there are other spots that aren’t showing up. Why is this? Can someone help?

Hmm. There are three Wayspots there and none of them are showing as Pokestops, now that I got my map settings adjusted and can see them. If this was four months ago, it can’t be due to the current sync issue. It is possible that there is a property owner request there to block game locations there, but staff would have to confirm that.
What can I do to solve this problem right now?
This is beyond my understanding. I think you may have to wait for a response from staff.

The “Pokémon Center Fukuoka Sculpture / 33.589134,130.419014” is located immediately adjacent to the above sponsored PokéStop. If this had been adopted as a PokéStop, it would be hidden due to proximity to the sponsor.
Since the “Pokémon Center Fukuoka Sculpture” is a PokéStop yet hidden, even if other Wayspots are approved in that zone, they likely won’t be adopted because the existing PokéStop is already present.
