Good morning here from the uk. Eastcoast

Hey guys.
My first post on here.
Ive did a pokestop requested yesterday in 3 areas at a holiday resort as there isnt any here to walk to.
How long does it take for a stop to be approved or declined. Im running out of poke a balls lol.

Thank you all.

Minimun 24 hours, as thats the minimum time taken for a nomination tk be allowed to go into voting. Currently just now im in glasgow, the surrounding areas of glasgow as well as gladgow itself ive had wayspots go through in 3-5 days. So id expect that if youre in tbe middle of nowhere, it will take about 3 days, if youre close to a city, 5 days

Hello and welcome @tessa012345678
Thats great that you have made submissions.
Although the game makes it all sound simple it is the start of a complicated sequence, and I think that its only fair to warn you that it can end up with no pokestop.
If there are none nearby then there is a good chance it will go through if they are suitable.
I’m going to move this to nomination support where we can check that all is likely to be ok and advise on any changes in the text that might help.
Its some unusually fine weather in the UK for a bank holiday weekend coming up so you wont want to be on a forum
Have you been to your contributions page to check the submissions?

If you could post the full details - screenshots from there of one of the nominations it would be good.

Thank yku for helping me guys i do appreciate your help. If im doing somthing wrong on my pists so let me know im new to doing contributions for spin stops.

Thank you

Hi, in order to help we would need to see full submissions (as in, clicking on those you show and taking a screenshot of the full page). I would also suggest withdrawing the first one before it goes into voting as it does not have pedestrian access.

Yes, we definitely need more information, in order to try to help. Here are the first questions that popped into my head…

Your first one looks like an aerator that does not have pedestrian access. (These are utilitarian - put in ponds that don’t have a stream running through them, to churn the water and reduce mosquito larvae.)

Is the second one basically a “keep out” sign? Whatever it is - why would people make it a destination?

Is the third one a place where social events happen?

Ah thanks for these, it’s been a very hot day
It looks like you are on a caravan resort park so there may be potential.
Can you say where it is please.
As they were rejected quickly it is highly likely it was an auto reject by the system - the email will say our team decided.
Unfortunately these 3 are not good candidates.
The pond fountain does not meet criteria as you need to be able to go to the fountain and touch it .
The second object is a life belt holder so it is not an interesting place to go to and is likely to be considered as potentially blocking emergency services.
The third looks like a regular caravan so it doesn’t meet criteria either.
So these won’t work.
Many of these sites have a children’s play area some equipment / sandpit is there something like that?
Is there a social hub/ club on site?
Are there interesting or unusual things eg an old rowing boat used as a planter?

Is there a walking trail with trail markers or information boards?
Are there any biodiveristy features such as bug hotels or wildflower meadows?
Are there any noticeboards with information about the resort / park or features within it?

Yes we are a holiday resort on golden palm chapel skegness
We only have stops at the clubhouse which is along way away. There is none around the park.

there is a fishing lake sign will that work.

They took the planters away.

I will check for the walkers trail sign

Thank you for your help all doing my best to get some wayspots as loads walk around the park but none around.

We have bikers scooters going around site but finding it hard what to use as a photo. As its all caravans and ponds and walking paths with no signs.

Fishing lake sign has potential as long as it is a welcome sign rather than a warning sign. I doubt planters would have met criteria anyway.

No streetview and Satalite is not great :frowning:

From the entrance on South Road (shops on left) there is an object at the end of the 1st block of caravans on the right???
