Gym removed

Hi, one of my wayspot got turned into a gym and disappeared during GoFest. Where do I go to find out the reason for removal?

Do you have the name and GPS coordinates of where you originally submitted the wayspot? The GPS coordinates can be found on the email you received after submitting the wayspot.

There could be 3 reasons why it was removed.

  1. An owner of the location near the wayspot requested it to be removed
  2. There could have been a location change of the wayspot and it got moved into a occupied cell, you can check this with the POGO map when press upload and new pokestop. The explaination points represent the wayspots not used in POGO.
  3. It could have been removed due to a report of all kinds.

But as @seaprincesshnb said, we would need the coordinates to check it out thoroughly

That’s a little free library on single family private property. It should not have been approved. I assume someone reported it because it was ineligible and the Wayfarer team removed it. That’s very clearly in the house’s front yard.

Even though it’s literally next to the side walk where people can easily access it??

In the yard is in the yard. There is no leeway on that.
