what should I do in this case? the nomination shows an indian chief (the photo has a cactus on it so still I would reject it for bad photo, but lets assume the cactus is not there) but I use street view to accept nominations and I found this is a mural of a restaurant, is not a generic restaurant, it has its unique features, but the nomination has nothing to do with the restaurant, is this “wrong”? should the nomination be invalid because it dosent show the right thing? (the restaurant) not even the description names something about a restaurant
We’d be able to give more thorough and thoughtful feedback with the full nomination. That said, a mural is entirely eligible on its own merit, without mentioning the restaurant. The person nominating can assert that the artwork is, itself, a good place to explore or socialize.
Edited to add: I don’t think the presence of the cactus detracts from the mural itself. Does it block the view, eh, sure, but not enough to obstruct the whole thing and make it ineligible.

oh ok, so this nomination is good after all, and the cactus dosent make this photo a “bad one” then? I feel it could be better
I concur with @darkersolstice, the photo could be better, but it’s not bad enough to warrant rejecting the nomination. The mural being on the side of the business doesn’t preclude it from being accepted either as it appears that the mural itself is a unique piece of artwork.
I’d accept this all day long.

Love this mural! Would accept with or without the cactus. Would also separately consider accepting the restaurant since that may be a great place to socialise, where the mural is unique art thats a good place to explore
