Help with understanding the Wayfarer Agreements count

Hello community,

I was hoping to make sense of the Wayfarer agreements count in Wayfarer vs my Pokemon Go game. Where does the PokemonGo 5370 count come from in relation to the data provided by Wayfarer? I don’t see how the numbers match.

Hey @HeyWhatica ,

Thank you for writing back to us again.

The “Agreements” section of your Wayfarer profile displays all of your agreements on player nominated Wayspots, even those made when you are not in Good or Great standing. Only nomination agreements made while in Good or Great standing will contribute to your progress towards the medal, which could contribute to a possible display difference between your medal progress and Wayfarer profile.

That doesn’t appear be the explanation.

Wayfarer Agreements while in Poor/Fair/Good/Great standing : 3150 + 1275 + 203 = 4628
Pogo Agreements while in Good/Great standing : 5370

You have earned more Wayfarer medals in Pokémon GO than the total number of agreements displayed on your Wayfarer profile. This is because the count for Pokémon GO medals includes edits to images, locations, titles, and descriptions.

Wow! Thank you for such a speedy response!

Thank you for all your help as I immerse myself more into this community and try to peel back the onion layers of understanding how this all works! I’ve been nominating and reviewing for years but I recently decided to dip my toes in the community for a more involved understanding.

Yes! That makes sense! I love editing the photos for a better picture and I’ve edited titles and descriptions to better reflect accuracy.

Your own submissions for wayspots and edits do not count towards the Wayfarer medal as that is only for Wayfarer Agreements. It is your reviews of edits that mean the pogo agreement count is higher then the Wayfarer agreement count, as Wayfarer doesn’t count the results of edits.

Oh, yes, I see your point! From what I gather the difference comes from when I was earning my way to good standing. Once there it started counting towards my wayfarer data.

No

The difference comes from you reviewing Edit submissions - photos, location, title, description.

Edit reviews (where you agreed with the majority) count towards your Pogo Wayfarer medal.

They do not get counted in the Wayfarer agreements figures

Hmm ok, I feel the same confused as when I posted then. :face_with_spiral_eyes: maybe I need some coffee, then come back to try to understand

Coffee is good.

Doing something else and coming back to this later, you should find it makes more sense. The solution from Aaron is incomplete and therefore misleading, so you would do best to skip that and read everything else

I have the same thing, with smaller numbers. My total agreements as shown in Wayfarer is 635 (581/44/10), but my in game medal displays 690.

So the excess 55 is from my reviews on edits / extra photos, appears to be the answer.

I haven’t had that many approved from my own nominations (53) so knew it wasn’t that, but was wondering what it could be. Possibly my own edits / extra photos, but I don’t think those numbers would match either.

The upgrade count helps give an idea of total agreements as you earn 1 upgrade for e dry 100 agreements. I can see you have used 48 and have 7 available. So 55.
That could mean 5500 ( plus whatever is on the wheel)
Upgrades were available as rewards during challenges so it may or may not be a good guide to the total number of agreements.

I think you got your numbers and posters mixed up.
