It is known how it is decided if a nomination is voted by AI / Niantic personnel or player Community?
I guess when you Upgrade a nomination that is always voted by player Community.
No, we have seen plenty of Upgraded nominations with “our team” decisions. I advise waiting to upgrade until after the 20-24 hour period when ML normally seems to pick up or send nominations to in house review if it is going to.
I don’t have any idea how it picks the ones to decide and which to leave in voting. I try to submit the very best photos I can with a clear focal point to make it easy for the filter to decide mine is an accept. And make sure all my edits explaining and proving my nomination are in place right away, in case it gets sent to Niantic voting for review. Is still a lot faster than community voting here, even if it isn’t ai decided.
