How many reviews for better profile rate?

Hi everyone!
Few years ago I started to review nominations (only for better medal in Pokemon GO, to be honest). I reached: total checked nominations - around 1800, accepted nominations - around 400 I think and my rating went to “weak”. Now I rate again. I spend so far move than 5 hours on it, reached: total checked nominations - 2344, accepted nominations - 646. But my medal in Pokemon GO is still around 480/500. It is frustrating ;/ I’m wondering, how many still I have to accepted for better rating my profile and finally get the silver medal in Pokemon GO. Anyone calculated it? How many exactly we need agreements for one stage on our profile rating?

I don’t think anyone can give you a number you have to hit to improve your rating. Here is a suggestion from staff:

Until you are in Good/Great standing, agreements will not count for the badge.

Welcome to the community!

Agreements made when your rating was low - do not count on your badge.

Also, it can take a few hours to sync new agreements to the game.

Yeah, I know this - my point is "“how many I have to review for better rating?”

This isnt know information. Best bet is to slow down, ask lots of question and ensure your rating based on criteria.

Yes, but how many more I have to review for upgrade my rate? Any idea?

There isnt a set number, everyone reviews differently and each review can impact your over rating differently. If you’re reviewing wrong you might be digging yourself deeper and deeper, for example.

I answered you

What is your total number of agreements? How many rejected and duplicates?

You earn agreements only when the final decision for a nomination is made. Since this requires an unknown number of reviews by Wayfinders, it will take some time, until you see the agreement in your statistics.

Slow down and really look at each nomination.
Interact with the page. Each nomination needs different info, but the things you can do include: Click on the title for a google search. Click on a potential duplicate if they might be the same. Zoom the map, switch to Satellite, try Streetview. Click on “Google”, bottom left of the map, to open another tab. Scroll down and read supporting before voting. Expand one or both pictures.
You don’t have to everything every time, but use them when they help.

Hello,

Like others have said, there is no known number, as your rating is based off of your agreements and disagreements with other reviewers. I don’t think Niantic wants to reveal this info to users, as it could be abused by some, just like they don’t reveal to us how many reviews a nomination needs to be decided upon. And yes, it can take time to gain more agreements; for example, I can do 20 reviews a day and only get 2 or 3 agreements within a 24 hour period.

It’s best to slow down a bit, and take your time reviewing. You may also want to go other the criteria and review guidelines, just in case you have any questions that come up. Those can be found at the following links:

In the end, we all need to use our best judgment while reviewing. There can be quite a lot of grey areas that we have to make decisions on. Don’t forget that you can choose IDK if you’re unsure, as well as the Skip button. If I get a nomination to review that might be a little hard to review, I might take a break, especially since you only have 20 minutes to complete a review before you get something new to review (best not to stay on the review screen though).

Hi Gita! My only other advice (beside patience and thoroughness) is to review in rather small batches for a time. When my rating last dropped, I limited myself to under ten reviews per day…and my rating rose soon after. If you’re doing big batches of reviews at one sitting, then there are probably lots of unresolved Wayspots that may yield agreements in time…but that can take a while! When doing small batches, those agreements will trickle in each day and with luck (and criteria-based voting!) you’ll get back to Good or higher while also not burning out on the reviewing experience and growing more frustrated.
