I have the issue that I absolutely am trash at reviewing nominations. Maybe I am too harsh, or too lenient, or just make ill-informed decisions? I don’t even know which one.
I am NOT new to nominations, as I have like 600 portals approved, but no matter how hard I try, I rarely get above “poor” status when reviewing. I’m checking for a lot of things like K12, body parts, photo quaIity, registration plates, everything. As per my personality I don’t enjoy things I am bad at, and reviewing for an hour just to stay at “poor” and not achieve anything is not my idea of fun at all.
The issue for me is that I really want the Pokemon Go platinum medal, one of the few medals I miss. Any recommendations for achieving this?
Hi
A lot may depend on where you are. The country, a very urban area or very rural area.
These factors influence the rate of resolution.
My advice….
So if you review a large number and none/ very few are resolved you are not going to get agreements. And you really need a flow of those.
A good tactic to try over several weeks when looking to improve rating is to do a few everyday but also to focus on ones that should be easy accept or reject, and to skip ones that are debatable. This should mean more agreements along with your backlog where slowly more agreements start to flow.
The other option is to stop reviewing and let agreements for those you have done appear.
Crucial to both is that you keep track of your statistics carefully.

Ok, I thought “Skip” could negatively influence my rating? Then I will definitely only check the ones where I am 100% sure, and Skip the rest. Best advice I could get, thanks!
I am in a very urban area but since I am such an avid submitter I know very well how many vote over the last years, and this year it really dropped. I want this medal within the next 2 year s, so I am definitely not in a hurry to get agreements in.

It has been officially said that skipping doesn’t affect it.
