I’m trying to improve the quality of my reviews. I look at all of the photos zoomed in and one has the person taking the photo clearly in the reflection which I believe is against the rules, but I have no skips left even though I’m on the fence. How would I notate or point this out?
If the photo is accepted, you can submit multiple photos to one wayspot, this should then push your other photo out of the Wayspot and should then have your retaken photo there instead, if it has a higher upvote than all of the other photos there.
This should help clear your issue.
Adding photos doesn’t remove existing photos. It sounds like OP is concerned with rejecting a bad photo rather than dealing with a photo they took though.
You can reject a photo during a review if it doesnt meet criteria for example license plate, visible face, very dark etc
So you dont need to skip, you can select the photo to say it doesn’t meet criteria and if enough agree with you, it wont be added
However, if the photo is already on the waypoint, the review wont remove it. Only way to get things removed is to report them later
IIRC, photo issues are under Accuracy.
How clearly is clearly?
How much did you zoom in?
Yes this is correct! I didn’t mean to be confusing saying “I was on the fence”, heh. I meant I was on the fence on if I should reject, and what to press to reject it because the person is very clearly visible taking the photo once you look in the reflection which I believe is not allowed to prevent anyone trying to influence ratings.
Pretty clearly. Not sure if I am allowed to post it here. I only clicked the one time that makes the image larger, I did not do any additional zooming. To add a bit more clarity it is a Little Free Library and the person is visible and if it was someone I knew (it isn’t, but if it was) I would be able to identify them without issue.
Thanks. I must be missing where to do it for the photo unless it is under “accuracy” like one user said here but I will take a closer look and see if I’m missing a photo-specific option. I am relatively new to this although I did a whole bunch yesterday. I WFH at a call center so decided this is a good way to make use of time between calls for me.
thumbs down Accuracy and you will see Bad Photos
Check that box and you will see Submitter Identifiable
Thank you so much! This was absolutely what I was looking for. I guess I should have thumbs’d down to see but I have not encountered this in another review yet. Greatly appreciate it.
