How to prove multi-account?

What should I do if a player intentionally creates multiple accounts in order to accept their own nominations? Is it possible to prove this and take action?

What you have described is abusive behaviour. It can be hard to confirm such behaviour, but if you can do so, then definitely report it. Examples might be finding definitely ineligible wayspots being approved and there being some common markers between them.

Hey @DenialN1 ,

You can report it to us and we will look into the report.

Thanks,

It’s a shame not many of the multi-accounting locals I know use wayfarer or I could keep you busy. I’d say the rate of having more than 1 account around here is around 50%:sob:

You can report them to in-App support.

I can try again I suppose… thankyou!

Are ā€œvoting ringsā€ still a problem in a way they may have been in the past?

I get very few reviews from my immediate location and I know waypoints have been added. Majority of my reviews are from neighbouring towns and beyond.

Surely, as more people join wayfarer with the lowering of the required levels the chance of someone getting a nomination made by account 1 getting reviewed by account 2 must be low?

So, no one has said how to report this, but there is a Reporting Abuse link at the top of the forums. You can also report via the help chat on the Wayfarer website, but using the Reporting Abuse link may allow you to provide more info.

Besides ineligible Wayspots that have been accepted or ineligible nominations/edits that you have reviewed, if you know the usernames in PoGo of these users, that will be very helpful, as your username in PoGo is connected to your Wayfarer account.
