I saw on the Wayfarer Criteria that Plaza’s can be awesome nominations. Did I nominate min wrong? Or did I read it wrong. There are 3 Restaurants as well as a Cafe in the Plaza along with other shops.
Just for Clarification it is Called Uitsig Plaza Translates to(Lookout Plaza) and the Name (Die Stegie) is what the Locals call it, Translate to (The Alley)
Plazas are acceptable and this sounds like it could qualify. Is there a sign that has the Plaza name and the names of the businesses that could be used for the main photo? One of your other photos could be used for supporting.
Also you need to remove “Wayspot submission for” from your title. That is why they rejected for bad title. We are not supposed to use Niantic specific terms in the title or description.
Hiya. It’s not a fantastic photo - can you get a better one of the plaza sign maybe?
In the description, I would go into more detail about the types of business there, and why people should want to visit it. Trying thinking of it as a box to use to sell the place to someone visiting your town for the first time. Telling them lots of students hang out there isn’t likely to make someone want to visit, for example. But a highly popular shopping plaza with unique, independent shops and cafes might sound more appealing. Mention any non generic businesses - if it’s family owned, say that. How long has the plaza been there? Are there any interesting buildings or pieces or art? Would it be better to nominate one or two specific businesses in there, rather than the plaza as a whole?
That “Wayspot submission for” is now auto appearing on all submissions - it’s not part of the title! I’ve attached one of my current noms as an example:
I just looked at my contribution page and see it there too. So you are totally right. Not sure why I locked onto that. As long as it’s not something the reviewer sees it is all good.
I only noticed it recently and was trying to work out if it had always been like that. I’m guessing not based on your comments, so I feel better that I’m not going mad!
Wayspot Submission for is not part of the title. It is just what it shows on contribution. The title is in Grey. The First Photo is the Sign. At the top it Says Uitsig. it will try to take a Better photo
There are a Few local shops and Restaurants. Doubtfull to get enough attension on their own. Will try to spice up the Description and Photo Thanks for the Advise

You should definitely include why you titled as such in the description. Having a local nickname does suggest that it is a beloved spot for the community. I also notice some improvements with capitalization too.
