I’ve been playing wayfarer for about 6 months now, but I’m stuck at 70 on Pokemon Go. What is the cause?
On wayfarer, the status is “fair” and there are 600 approved, 40 rejected, and 2000 reviewed.
I think it’s probably because the wayfarer status has not been reflected yet, but how can I get it?
I have been waiting for more than half a year, but there is no improvement.
Pokemon Go’ account and wayfarer’s account is same one.
The medal is attached to agreements. Agreements are reviews you do when your decision agrees with the final outcome. For example, if you vote to approve something but the rest of the community rejects it, then you did not earn an agreement. But if you voted to reject and it was rejected, then you got an agreement. Agreements are earned for approvals, rejections, and marking something as a duplicate.
Having said all that. Your medal only advances in PGO when your personal reviewer rating is in good or great status. You can find that on your profile page. If you are below either of those ratings, that means your review decisions are not agreeing with the community often enough. Or it can mean that the things you have reviewed have simply not reached a decision yet. You can’t get an agreement until all the voting is complete.
To raise your personal reviewer rating, be sure you understand all the criteria. Read all the help articles and look at the Criteria Clarification Collection here in the forum. Take your time with each review. Make sure the item is real and is located where it claims. But also, don’t be overly picky about titles or spelling. Those things can be edited later. If you can tell what the item looks like in the photo, the title and description are distinct enough that you could find it in the real world, and it meets Wayfarer criteria (not gaming criteria) without being in an ineligible location (like a school for kids under 18), then vote positively on it.
Thank you for your response, I would like to raise my wayfarer personal reviewer, but I am thinking that my wayfarer reviewer will not go up unless it is determined to be “reviewed”.
How can I get my “reviewed” status determined?
Your Reviewed is the combination of Agreenents, disagreements, and outstanding nominations.
The outstanding ones will eventually move to either Agreement or Disagreement, but it can take time. The time it takes depends on how long it takes the community to decide. And there are factors such as how many reviewers there are in the are it was nominated and if it was Upgraded.
As the outstanding nominations get decided you may see your rating improve from Fair to Good if your votes are aligned with the majority decision.
Unfortunately there is not much more that you can do but give them time to come in. Otherwise @seaprincesshnb had some great advice about reading up on criteria to help ensure your votes are matching the community consensus more often than not.
Please let me know if this makes sense. I think I understood your question but am not positive.
Thank you for your answer. But your answer has made me feel hopeless. Because I have been waiting for more than 6 months and no update. I am thinking of quitting wayfarer.
I don’t understand what you are “waiting” for. You need to do reviews. And you need to make sure that you are reviewing properly.
If your rating is not Good or Great, then you need to learn the criteria and improve the quality of your reviewing behavior.
Your stats of 600 accepted and 40 rejected seems heavily weighted to accepts. You may want to review criteria and see if you are accepting things you should not. I am NOT saying to reject just to reject, but really pay attention to each nomination presented to you. Make sure it meets the criteria of a place to exercise, explore, or be social. And does not meet any ineligibility criteria.
Thank you for your answer.I believe I am moving from “reviewed candidates” to “approved candidates” to “rejected candidates.” This is my “waiting” mean. I have 2000 “approved candidates” and the number has not changed over the past 6 months. This is the same for “approved candidates” and “rejected candidates”. I have reviewed a few candidates along the way, but there has been no significant movement. Mats, if there is any painting I can do to increase the number of “approved candidates”, could you please let me know?
Thanks for the answer. What I want to know is how to increase the number of “Candidates for Approved”. I have been waiting for over 6 months for the “Candidate for Reviewed” to move, but nothing has moved. I have done several reviews along the way, but the result is the same: no movement in the “approved candidates” and “rejected candidates”. Are there any specific actions I can take to increase the “approved candidates?”
If I have to wait for the community review, how can I join a different community day since there has been no movement in this community for more than 6 months?
It may be that you are reviewing in an area where there are very few reviewers. If this is part of the issue, asking folks to choose your area as their Bonus reviewing area may help.
Though I am very surprised to hear that the total reviewed number has not increased from 2000 as you have continued to review. This should go up by 1 for every review that you do.
can you show me a screenshot of the stat you want to increase?
is it one of these?
or are you asking about something else now?
Thank you for your response. I see there is a way to make it a bonus review.
Could you please tell me where I can do this?
Thanks for the response. Here is mine.
Are there any specific actions I can take to get “Nomination Accepted?”
More review. Waiting wont get u anywhere
To do that you need to tell us generally where you are. Country, region, or state… something like that.
Then you would ask if there are people that would set that area as their Bonus reviewing area.
Please don’t only focus on Nominations Accepted.
In order to vote in a way that is aligned with others and follows criteria, you want to see all 3 of those values increase (Accepted, Rejected, and Duplicated). They don’t give you any feedback for the votes that you didn’t match the outcome on.
Exactly u nd to review based on criteria. And not just accept anything. What matter is the total agreement that u have.
I don’t see the number 2000 anywhere on this screenshot.
You have done 1,869 reviews.
- 577 of those you approved AND THE COMMUNITY AGREED.
- 42 of those you rejected AND THE COMMUNITY AGREED
- you did not mark any as a duplicate
Your badge will not update because you are in Fair status. You need to try to improve the quality of your reviewing. I don’t think this has anything to do with how many people are reviewing in your area. You seem to be out of sync with their decisions.
As people told you about this is just the breakdown of your agreements. You don’t see your disagreements or the outstanding decisions on this page. It is entirely possible (and likely the case) that the rest of the nominations you have reviewed have all resolved already as we don’t see many 6 month old nominations anymore, so it’s very likely they are just mostly disagreements (that aren’t shown to you).
In the case of profiles heavily weighted towards acceptances, we usually suspect that as the reason of the low rating. It is natural to want to help communities that play Niantic games with wayspots, but the best way we can help them is by reviewing per criteria, which are the only common thing you and the other reviewers have to go on, so that things resolve relatively fast. In our collective experience it’s somewhat improbable that 93% of the things you review are things you would want to straight accept.
I would also suggest re-reading the criteria, and please feel free to ask questions about the things you review on here to check for second opinions in Review Support . And remember that it’s ok to mark a question “I don’t know” when something is not clear or hard to verify.
