Yeah I can see why people lose gyms or spots in the city but parks come on. Lol.
I’m not sure if the manage is still there or not. I know I went to the park last year during the summer and it was packed but this year during ol’ Ray Ray’s elite raids, only two, maybe 3 gyms.
If they are not you could get a few of you together and say to the new boss how much you all enjoy the park, the benefits it has in bringing you all together to play in a nice, green space.
Maybe run through what you do and how you will remain respectful of the park and the other people in it?
I totally agree. I myself have 3 spots approved that dont appear on the pokemon go game. And a lot that was not approved by automatic ai model denial.
If we are encouraged to upload and nominate stops in the game itself then for the love of batman put it in that same game! Otherwise you are wasting our time and effort to nominating stops. I will definitely encourage all pokemon players in my community NOT to click the upload button.
***Mod Edit to remove unhelpful comments not focussed on wayfarer.
@liamchoychoy
You are clearly frustrated by what is happening not only with your nominations but more generally with the games outside of wayfarer. It’s ok to vent your frustrations with Wayfarer but not helpful beyond tgat scope.
This forum can assist with the Wayfarer issues.
You have had to absorb a lot over the past 2 days as to how it all works and why some wayspots are not in the game. I doubt you were expecting to have to learn so much. I do think we can help you. It would be worth reading carefully then posting in nomination support one or two potential places and we can check if they are likely to appear and if they are good nominations.
Maybe take a day or two to reflect on everything.
I can understand the frustration when you don’t know how the system works and a wayspot doesn’t show up in the game that you play, but instead of thinking of it as a waste of time if something doesn’t appear in your game of choice, think of it this way:
A ton of Pokéstops and Gyms in Pokémon Go were not submitted by Pokémon Go players. Many of them were submitted by Ingress agents. Those agents likely didn’t have Pokémon Go in mind when they submitted them, and indeed, because ingress had its own proximity rules, some of them may not have become Portals whilst still being able to become Pokéstops. That never stopped them from submitting them though, and they end up benefitting you as a Pokémon Go player.
Ingress is no longer connected to wayfarer, so Pokémon Go has become the main way to add to the wayfarer database. We are in the position that ingress agents were in before. Is it really bad if you pass that same favour forward to people who play other games?
It makes one wonder why ingress is no longer connected to wayfarer. And i dont have the slightest interest to know.
What i do know is that im not a F2P player. I pay to enjoy the game. Ive had a lot of mobile games i uaed to play before and didn’t spend a single dime on them. Yet i do so with GO. And me nominating stops so that we can enjoy more of the game we spend on through the app itself is but right that we are awarded our efforts and spending. Dont get me wrong paying it forward is good. Paying to enjoy and contributing to a specific entity is a totally different thing for a lot of us.
Yes ive had a lot of anxiety these past few days and late night hour discussions with ambassadors and regulars that became an epitome of a political circus where you get corporate blah blah and not get any actual useful result while having multiple successive declines by niantics automated process on my daily submissions.
Makes one lean towards no longer having the motivation to nominate and pay to play.
We just had comday today in GO and yes i vented out to our community the horrendous tribulation one has to go through just to simply get a pokestop in GO. A lot of them used to submit nominations as well and stopped doing so due to the said experience.
So yes. I will take a rest from playing and paying. Thank you for a very sound advice which was not dearly requested by yours truly.
