I made a mistake when using the help bubble on the Wayfarer site to correct a location

Hello everyone.
I didn’t know you could correct a PokéStop’s location using the Wayfarer website. I was trying to do this, but I made a mistake. When submitting the coordinates, I repeated the information twice, and it remained the same.

What I’m trying to do is move the “Sube y baja barrio Guayacanes” Wayspot down a bit so I can free up the cell and have “Estatua de buho en el barrio guayacanes” appear.

The actual information for moving the Wayspot is as follows:

Current Location: 4.759239, -75.921859

Correct Location: 4.759190, -75.921858

Ticket # 37309523
I’m attaching proof:

You should never try to move a wayspot to “free up a cell”, this is closed as Abuse and can lead to warning / suspension / ban of wayfarer and all scopely games.

As the waypoint in real life is away from the building it looks like it is already in the correct location.

when you submitted the request to help chat, they would have checked to see if they thought your coordinates were correct, even if you submitted the ones you meant to.

i am really bad at navigating between satellite and street view. it does look to me in the street view like the actual location is a bit south of the current pin. you can ask help chat again and give them plenty of geotagged photos showing the actual location if it really is a real life correction, not just for cell advantage. they ask me for at least one from the same view as the pokestop, then i take a few more going around the object. you can mention the previous ticket number or not.

Staff will have his/her own judgement about placement. Its your responsibility to provide enough evidence about correct placement.

In addition, moving wayspot away from its correct location is subject to abuse ladder system. Please only move if its for correcting.

Agree, and looking at streetview the proposed move is not correct.
