I’m trying to improve the gameplay in my neighborhood and this pokestop in question (as well as a few other things) is out of place. It’s name is “quadra de esportes” (Which by the way I suggested renaming to “Quadra Poliesportiva da Praça do Hifi”, which is a more specific name for it’s location, but I was unsuccessful). It’s in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil. At the coordinates (-20.261266, -40.300651), but it should be at (-20.261231, -40.300639).
The person who created it put it in the wrong location just to have a pokestop close to home. But the square has had a renovation and where this pokestop is located is the location of another sports court that was built there. This is preventing the creation of a new pokestop that should be in that place.
If the location is incorrect, you can use help chat from the wayfarer site to get them to move it. They will want evidence. Go to Niantic Wayfarer and a chat bubble will pop up:

Is the satelite view of the area posted by @cyndiepooh up to date with the layout of the various sporting facilities?
You say that the sports courts have changed.
Could you describe this further please. If they are now for different types of sports then this may not be the appropriate way.
You appear to say that there is something at the original location but it is not what it was and that the new location is now something new but similar.
It may be easier with appropriate geotagged photos, to remove the existing Wayspot. Then you can submit any new sports facilities at the correct locations. You could certainly do that if the new one you are proposing is distinct rather than try to move it.

oh you don’t need to convince me. just pointing out what it looked like on google maps. be sure to point that out to help chat, and send them geotagged photos.
every time i suggest help chat for a move, i try to be clear that it actually needs to be a real life correction, not a move to improve the game board. i don’t want to get anyone in trouble for abuse when i point them to help chat.
