So, there’s an alley behind my house with graffiti depicting a children’s game called “Hopscotch,” and Google Maps didn’t capture images from inside that alley. I requested a PokéStop, and it was rejected without any specific reason; they just said it doesn’t meet Wayfarer’s criteria. However, I’ve received gifts from friends where this type of graffiti was accepted as a PokéStop. I’d appreciate your help on what to write to submit the request.
Title: Brincadeira “Amarelinha”
Description: Grafite da brincadeira típica infantil chamada “Amarelinha”, que consiste em chegar no maior número sem pisar na linha. Eternizada no Beco “Arthur Francisco” em Goiabeiras.
It sounds as though it was an auto reject, is that correct ?
You can appeal but perhaps it might be worth improving first.
There are a couple of issues to resolve.
You describe this as graffiti which is normally temporary. It looks to me more like a community project. Could you explain more please .
In terms of proving location this could be a good case to use the web submission method which allows up to 5 supplementary images. So you could have a sequence starting in the street with buildings clearly on street view and through a sequence “walk” the reviewer to the object.
I think you will need to describe the location better making sure that it is understood that it is not connected to an “Single Family Private Residence Property”.
Talking from a UK perspective these are often found in Play parks so I would describe them as play equipment not as “Graffiti”.
