I Seeking Help in Proposing New PokeStops

Hello everyone, I live in a town of about 2000 inhabitants, and I’m looking for new places to nominate possible pokestops. Can anyone by chance, through Steet View, (with Google Earth) give me a hand in finding interesting places to propose? I live in a town in Italy called Valle Lomellina. Thanks to everyone who wants to help me.

Here’s a few possibilities to look into:

Looks like a mural on Via Europa in the parking lot behind the Comune.

This is listed online as a performance venue. It could be eligible, or perhaps something inside.

Unable to see from Street View but if it’s open to the public, the chapel (and the castle) could provide a few Wayspots.

This appears to maybe be a piazza or small park at the end of Via Giovanni XXIII.

This sundial is on Via Giovanni XXIII too, but I can’t tell if it’s a single family home or not. If it’s an apartment building it could maybe work.

This beauty salon has a painting on the wall too, which you could maybe try.

There looks like there are some popular restaurants and cafés in your town that I think would be suitable as wayspots.

If you do nominate one of these restaurants, you will need to ensure that your main photo excludes any people and that it includes the signboard for the restaurant.

To give you an idea of what to write, here is an example of what has worked for me in the past when nominating a restaurant……

Description - “Family run restaurant that produces high quality authentic Thai cuisine with a welcome dining experience, delicious food and great service. It is the ideal place to share a drink and a meal with family and friends and just chat”.

Supplemental Information - “Nomination is a Thai Restaurant. It meets the qualifying criteria as being a good local place for socialising with family and friends, is not a chain store, and is a favourite gathering place amongst both the local community, tourists and the “cheap eats” crowd. Niantic criteria specifically encourages ‘Popular restaurants’. It has highly positive reviews through social media and review channels such as Google where it has an average of 4.5 out of 5 star rating (based on 195 reviews) and has 5.1k followers on Facebook. It offers locals an opportunity to sit, chat, share a drink and a meal with family and friends and strangers alike. Nomination is readily accessible with safe pedestrian access evident via sealed walkway. Website - www.****.com”

Good luck with getting some new wayspots approved in Valle Lomellina. Hopefully, one of your nominations will trigger a new gym.

Good luck

Great description, though personally I would not say things like:

Or

Of course the submitter thinks it meets the criteria or they usually wouldn’t submit the POI. Unfortunately, I find 9 times out of 10 when people tell the reviewer that it meets the criteria and Niantic said this, the submitter is either wrong or really stretching it to cover a weak submission. I find it a real turn-off. Make the argument. All the other info is great, just let the reviewer decide if she/he thinks it meets the criteria.

I will explain which criteria I am submitting it under, or will say something like “encourages exploration” or “designed for being social” or something like that, but avoid saying “meets criteria” as well.

Message in Italian:

Certo, potrei cercarli posti strategici dove mi hai indicato nella foto, ma purtroppo è anche un luogo isolato e metterci quindi un ipotetico pokestop, sarebbe anche inutile😅
