As for in-game removal reports, it’s possible, as I reported a bunch at an area that is being redeveloped and is under construction. I was over in that area on Sunday, and all of the ones I reported over there and provided a link to geotagged images showing the construction were removed; I didn’t receive any email back though.
Again, this is just my experience, so can’t say if others have had it as well.
I just made a new nomination via Ingress. Where has it gone now? How can I see it ? Wayfarer says I need a level 37 Pokemon account to access it but I have a level 15 Ingress account
Hi @PeteC3031
Welcome to the forum
I’ve moved your topic into the main thread about Ingress and it’s last sync (I know that you didn’t ask for syncing) because here you’ll find the most recent community collected answers.
Yeah I can confirm they are reviewing the reports made via Recon Help Center, during this weekend I recieved 2 confirmations of portals being removed although they haven’t gotten removed from the game and are still there, maybe they haven’t made a sync since then.
I need help and don’t know what to lookup or what’s going on. There is a wayspot that shows in Ingress and the location is incorrect and because of that the wayspot does not appear in POGO either. Now with Ingress being separated what do I do? Can I submit that wayspot in POGO or is that Ingress portal going to appear and then I will get it marked as a duplicate? If so will moving the location in Ingress because it was incorrectly placed help POGO or not?
This is how the submission map always looks to me. For all my submissions it never shows any wayspots currently there. This screenshot there is a gym and at least 3 wayspots that should be appearing.
Try to restart and wait whilst it loads the map. Then it should show Wayspots that don’t appear in Pokémon GO. If it doesn’t show, raise a bug report. If they do show, please do share.
If it is something added in Ingress post-split, then it wont be considered a duplicate in Wayfarer as Ingress now uses Recon. However nothing has been approved in Recon yet, so it’s less likely.
It has been in Ingress a long time and I am sure of that. Its been there since 2019. I checked it in Ingress. Also, yes then I will restart because I do not have that toggle.
If it’s in Ingress since 2019, that would be long before the recent split, and would then be marked correctly as a duplicate as it already exists in Wayfarer.
Thank you for telling me about the map I assumed that was normal. I submitted a bug report. Thank you for all your help as well! Several people I know are missing that on theirs as well so I am having them file bug reports too. I appreciate you.
Seems this may be a common bug. I previously was able to see the current POIs when submitting pokestops on my map in game. About a week or so they stopped appearing on my in game map as well.
