Ingress nominations not showing up in wayfarer

I recently submitted a few POI’s that I received confirmation emails for however they have never shown up in wayfarer.
Has something changed or is this a bug?

Did you submit through Pokemon Go or Ingress? I don’t know what the new emails for Ingress look like since the split from Wayfarer, but have read that they still contain Wayfarer wording, even though it is a totally separate process now.

I just checked and the email text is identical for submissions from Ingress and from Pokemon Go.

The differences are the subject line, the email address it is sent from and, more obviously, the logo at the top of the email.

It will be helpful when Scopely stop calling themselves Niantic.

i just submitted one so i would have a reference in my inbox. the background color is different too for me, but idk if that is just my settings.

the color of the background for the op’s post matches that submission, so i think this was made through ingress. there is no way at the current time to see those pending contributions.

I submitted using ingress. I noticed that it now says Recon but I don’t know what that is and so just assumed it was a rebrand for wayfarer submissions.

Currently you cannot log in to Recon but it will be here - Recon | Niantic Spatial, Inc. Nominations from Pokémon GO will go into Wayfarer but those once accepted will not show on Ingress. Similarly, anything approved in Recon will not show up on Pokémon GO

Nominations from Ingress go /somewhere/. The email confirmation is all that there is at present. You can’t look at them or review them, or know what you submitted, except for what is in the emails.

Crucially, you can’t edit them after submitting, so using placeholder text, upload, put on hold and edit before releasing is not available for Ingress portal submissions.

I received an email yesterday that one of my portal edits was rejected, but the Niantic Spatial website still looks like it’s perpetually trying to load when I got to it. So something’s happening, just not sure what or how.
