i submitted some portals for ingress a few days ago and nothing new has popped up on my contribution management page the only stuff there is old things i submitted from last year there is none of my new stuff. i know they are still under review but doesnt it usally show a pending tab?

If you made those submissions through Ingress, they will no longer show up in Wayfarer, Ingress has split off to a different company. Read this below for more information.

Ingress submissions were only reopened a week ago and now only go to Ingress. You can’t use placeholder texts, upload later and edit after uploading, because they are currently going /somewhere/ that is basically a black hole until Niantic Spatial provide an interface for reviewing (etc). Get everything right before submitting, but it’s still worth doing because otherwise those submission slots are going to be wasted.
Some official message somewhere (telegram?) said they have done this so that they have a decent number of submissions once reviewing is made available again.
If you play both Ingress and Pokemon Go (or other Scopely products acquired from Niantic), you need to decide whether to upload for only one system or do it twice.
