Additional Information (if any):
I am submitting this appeal via the forum because the standard reporting tool does not provide an appropriate category for “generic infrastructure” or “mass-produced signs” when reporting an invalid Wayspot. As a result, I could not find a correct reporting option that fits this exact policy violation.
I request the removal of this Wayspot due to the following criteria violations:
-
Mass-Produced Infrastructure: This is a standard, mass-produced regulatory safety sign used by local councils across Australia. It is generic street furniture deployed systematically along footpaths and lacks any unique local character.
-
Fails Core Criteria: It is a functional traffic warning sign, not a recreational trail marker. It provides no historical, cultural, or architectural value to encourage exploration or social gathering.
-
Systemic Abuse by Same User: Multiple identical signs along the exact same path network are being systematically submitted and approved by the same player, including “Heritage Spring Shared Path Sign 4”. This is a clear tactical abuse of the system to spawn multiple ineligible Wayspots using mass-produced infrastructure.
I kindly request the Niantic team to review the coordinates and remove this ineligible generic infrastructure from the database. Thank you.
