Title of the Wayspot: Stilo Sucio

City: Santiago
Country: Chile
Additional Information:
Hello Niantic Support team,
I am requesting the removal of this Wayspot because the original mural no longer exists. It was painted over / removed several years ago.
I have attached a current photograph of the exact location showing that the original artwork is completely gone from the site.
Thank you for your assistance in keeping the map updated!

The POI that this wayspot (gym) is reflecting was definitely removed between 2014 and 2023. Google streetview history clearly shows the graffiti as existing in 2014 as per the wayspot pictures and not existing in 2023 as per the pictures provided here
If you have appealed already and this was rejected, please include a screenshot of the rejection.
If you have not appealed this through the wayfarer map/Pokemon Go, you must do that first. (I have done this.)
Hi, @Qw3rtyG4mer! Appeal is in the wrong format. Please wait until you receive the rejection email to appeal the candidate.
I submitted a removal report for this through the wayfarer map and it was just rejected. I checked the submission map to see if it had already been removed and it hasn’t.
Since streetview conclusively shows the graffiti has been whitewashed, can you explain why this wayspot isn’t being removed after a valid report?
Can you post your rejection.
Its a bit unusual but for now I think keeping it here might be best?
First I will state I do not agree with the decision but trying to understand why I can only think that they deem the original graffiti (which IMO was never eligible) and the “Black and White Stripes” are both Murals and does not fall foul of the Repurposing Rule?
I really really hope that isn’t the thinking, as the black and white stripes are very much not a mural. They aren’t intended to be one and don’t look like one.
This is simply a wall painted in two bands to break it up visually and prevent it being too dominating. It’s no more artistic than the in-and-out nature of the wall which has the same reasoning behind it.
A friend also decided to report it and received the same message. When it literally no longer exists.
This is the response you get when either Scopely Explore are rejected the removal report OR when they have already removed the wayspot.
I have refreshed the submission map again (which is supposed to be live, not pseudo-live) and this wayspot has finally disappeared.
I wish that Scopely Explore could replace “your report has been rejected” with “this wayspot has already been removed/moved” when a report is made for a wayspot which did exist (otherwise the report could not have been made) but has now been removed/moved. This would cause less frustration in situations like this.
Bro, what map are you talking about, since even in the pokémon go map I still see the wayspot
When you go to the map on the Wayfarer website instead, and click the submit tab instead of looking at the normal.map
Between Wayfarer Map, Wayfarer Submit Map, and Pokémon GO Web Map,.there are different times of synchronization to and from the database, so some data can be even days old
Stilo Sucio was officially removed, thank you all for the help!!
